The short version
- We are a private company, not the Saudi government. You can apply yourself on the official portal and pay only the government fee.
- We check your details and file your eVisa application on the official portal as your authorised representative. The Saudi authorities alone decide whether to issue a visa.
- You pay the government fee at cost plus our service fee. Both are shown separately before you pay.
- If your visa is refused, we refund our service fee. If our mistake caused the problem, we also cover the government fee. See the Refund Policy.
- No forced arbitration and no class-action waiver. Your consumer rights where you live always apply.
1. About us and these terms
Safar Assist is a trading name of [Company legal name], a company registered in [Country/State of incorporation] with its registered office at [Registered address] ("Safar Assist", "we", "us"). You can contact us at help@safarassist.example.
These terms apply when you use our website or buy our service. Please read them with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these terms. By placing an order you confirm that you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
2. We are not the government
Safar Assist is an independent private business. We are not a government agency, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its Ministry of Tourism, its Ministry of Foreign Affairs or any other authority.
You do not need us to get a Saudi eVisa. You can apply directly on the official portal at visa.visitsaudi.com and pay only the government fee. Our price is higher because it includes a service fee for checking and filing your application and supporting you afterwards.
When we mention Saudi government bodies or portals, we do so only to describe where your application is filed. That does not imply any partnership or approval.
3. What we do, and what we don't
When you order, we will:
- have a member of our team review the information and documents you provide and point out likely errors;
- file your application on the official Saudi eVisa portal on your behalf, including paying the government fee and the mandatory health insurance that comes with the eVisa;
- keep you updated by email, and by text or WhatsApp for Priority orders;
- send you the eVisa issued by the Saudi authorities as soon as we receive it; and
- help you respond if the authorities ask for more information.
We do not:
- decide, influence or speed up the government's decision. The Saudi authorities alone decide whether to issue a visa, and a visa does not guarantee entry: border officers make the final decision;
- give legal or immigration advice. We can explain the eVisa rules published by the authorities, but you are responsible for checking that the eVisa suits your trip; or
- guarantee that your visa will be approved, or approved within a particular time.
4. Applying on behalf of you and others
By ordering, you appoint Safar Assist to act as your representative for one purpose: preparing and filing your eVisa application, and receiving the decision. The official eVisa terms allow an application to be made on someone else's behalf when the person applying has their authority.
If you order for other travellers, you confirm that:
- each adult traveller has authorised you to apply for them, to let us do so, and to share their information with us;
- you are the parent or legal guardian of, or otherwise authorised to act for, any child traveller; and
- you have shown each adult traveller our Privacy Policy.
When we file, we accept the official portal's own terms on each traveller's behalf, as that portal requires. You can read them at visa.visitsaudi.com.
5. Your responsibilities
- Accurate information. Everything you give us must be true, complete and match your passport. The authorities can refuse or cancel a visa based on wrong or misleading information, and may report it.
- Eligibility. Check that your nationality, or a visa or residence permit you hold, qualifies you for the eVisa. Our eligibility checker is a guide only.
- Passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you arrive, and you must travel on the same passport you applied with.
- Check your eVisa. When you receive your eVisa, check every detail and tell us about any error within 7 days, so we can get it corrected before you travel.
- Respond to us. If we or the authorities ask for more information, please reply promptly. Delays on your side can delay the decision.
- Plan ahead. Don't book flights or travel you can't change until you have your eVisa, unless you accept the risk.
6. Prices, government fee and payment
What you pay. Before you pay, we show two amounts separately for each traveller:
- the government fee, which includes the mandatory health insurance and any VAT charged by the official portal. We pass it through at cost, converted to US dollars at the rate shown at checkout. It is currently SAR 395, about $105.33; and
- our service fee: $15 per traveller for Standard, $29 per traveller for Priority, or $49 for a Family order of up to 5 travellers at Standard speed. Each extra traveller above 5 adds $15.
If the government fee changes between your payment and our filing: if it goes down, we refund the difference. If it goes up, we ask you before filing. You can then pay the difference or cancel for a full refund.
Taxes. If sales tax or VAT applies to our service fee where you live, it is shown at checkout before you pay.
Payment. Payments are processed by our payment provider, and we never see your full card number. We charge the full amount when you place your order. We pay the government fee to the official portal only when we file.
No hidden extras. We don't add charges after you pay unless you agree to them, for example an upgrade to Priority.
7. Processing times
We file Standard orders within 24 hours, and Priority orders within 2 hours, of receiving a complete application with all required documents. Priority covers every day of the week. If we miss these times, the Refund Policy explains what we refund.
After filing, the decision time depends on the Saudi authorities. They usually decide within 1–3 days, but it can take longer, and we can't speed it up. Any times we give for government decisions are estimates, not promises.
8. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel for a full refund any time before we file your application. After filing, the government fee has been paid to the authorities, and they do not refund it.
We refund our service fee if your visa is refused. If a mistake we made caused a refusal or an error on your eVisa, we either refile at our cost or refund everything you paid us, including the government fee. You choose which.
The full details, including how to ask for a refund and how long it takes, are in our Refund Policy.
9. If we make a mistake
If information we entered differs from what you gave us, or we miss an error that a careful check should have caught, that is our mistake. If it leads to a refusal, a delay or an incorrect eVisa, we will:
- refile at our own cost, including any new government fee; or, if you prefer,
- refund everything you paid us for that traveller.
We will also help you through any correction process with the authorities.
10. Our liability to you
We provide our service with reasonable care and skill. If we fail to, and you suffer loss as a result, our total liability for that order is limited to the total amount you paid us for it, including the government fee. This limit is in addition to any refund owed under our Refund Policy.
We are not responsible for:
- decisions by the Saudi authorities, airlines or border officers;
- delays or outages of the official portal;
- losses caused by information you gave us that was wrong or incomplete; or
- losses that were not foreseeable when you ordered.
Unless we caused the problem by breaking these terms, we are also not responsible for travel costs such as flights or hotels. Please don't book non-refundable travel before your eVisa is issued.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and under your statutory consumer rights.
11. Using our website
You must not:
- give false information or apply for someone without their authority;
- use the website for anything unlawful;
- try to get unauthorised access to our systems; or
- use bots or scrapers to copy the website or overload it.
We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund of anything not yet paid to the authorities, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms or the law.
The website's design, text and software belong to us or our licensors. Your information stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. How we contact you
We send service messages about your order by email, and by text or WhatsApp if you chose Priority or asked us to. Examples include your receipt, requests for information, status updates and your eVisa. We send marketing only if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes to the eVisa rules or to our service. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order. We'll show the date of the latest update at the top of this page, and we'll email existing customers about any important change before it takes effect.
14. Complaints and disputes
If something goes wrong, please email help@safarassist.example with your order reference. We aim to reply within 2 business days and to resolve complaints within 14 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of [Country/State of incorporation]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. We do not require arbitration, and we do not ask you to waive the right to take part in a class or group action.
You can still ask your bank or card issuer for a chargeback. Contacting us first is usually faster.
